Climate

Culture

Attractives
Once in Bahia Solano ther is the option of staying in the village, going by public transport cars to the beaches of Southern part in the Valley or by boat to the beaches of the north, by agreement with any of the inns or tourist travel agencies.
In addition to the warmth and beauty of the people, in Bahia Solano you will be fascinated by the whole spectacle of the landscape and demonstrations of wild and marine life. BAY SOLANO
The town is the point of arrival and the basis for the attractions of the south and north. THE VALLEY
It is the largest district of Bahia Solano located some 20 km to the south and inhabited by fishermen and craftsmen.

THE BEACHES ALMEJAL-Where the Turtles Are Placed in The Sea
These beaches located about 2 km from the district Valley are the most sought after by the scene swimmers and athletes from the area.
When the tide lows down natural Jacuzzis between the rocks and wide beaches are formed so it is great to practice beach soccer, beach volley ball. When the tide is high there may appear the perfect surfing waves.
One of the events that you can´t miss is the turtle releasing that is in between December and January. It is a wonderful emotion that you feel when you watch these tiny little turtles born right there and confront the big ocean and the complex of its waters.
BEACHES OF THE NORTH
The beaches of Huina, Huaca, Mechanics, Pots, Paridera, Flores and Nabugá are some of the stations to find the magic of peaceful Choco.
At the back of the coast is the permanent presence of the jungle mountains of Baudó among the thick vegetation and the birth of streams, rivers and waterfalls and lush and Huaca of the Nabugá.
You can also practice diving, snorkeling and in whale season is very easy to see these beautiful animals showing their huge tails. Another attraction at this place is fishing and recreational craft.

UTRIA NATIONAL PARK
The administrative area is located opposite the site where the sea stops forming a calm lake in the cove of Utría.
More than 50 thousand hectares protected by the Directorate of National Parks are one of the largest reserves of the department of Choco. This place can be reached by boat from any of the communities on foot or by the interpretive trail that joins Ithe district village of the Valley.

EMBERA PEOPLE INDIGENOUS SETTLEMENTS
