
Infrastructure and Services:
The inns have water and electricity, there are also fans, but the nights are cool.
Tourist Activities:
Tayrona Park (the entrance to the park is five minutes by car), LOS NARANJOS beach and mouth of the river stones (a 10 minute walk), Los Cocos beach (a 30 minute walk), Mendihuaca beach (15 minutes by car), Guachaca River (12 minutes by car), Valencia Creek (20 minutes by car),get to know the cultivation of fruit and vegetables,go kayaking on the rivers Buritaca Don and Diego, visits to the other places and its attractions,like bird watching, visit Santa Marta and Taganga.
These two inns or hostels, Wuiwa and Five Stars, were built under the same design as all the others, with wood and leave palm roofs. Its location near the Tayrona National Park which makes this an strategic location for visiting tourist attractions nearby. Closer is the beach Los Naranjos, suitable for the practice of surfing.
Location:
It is on the km 33 between Santa Marta and Rioacha trough the highway of the Caribbean, five minutes ahead of the main entrance of the Tayrona National Park. Wuiwa is about 50 meters from the main road, and Five Stars is a little farer, about seven minutes. Both lodges have access at the same entry. There is an add on the main road.
Accommodations:
Wuiwa, two bedrooms and a capacity of five people. Five Stars a room with capacity for three people. They have private bathrooms and terraces for hammocks. There is a bed net for the beds.
Food and meals:
The inns have no kitchen, however, the owners have kitchens in their homes to serve the needs of tourists. The meals are based on a great variety of fish, rice with coconut, fried green plantain tortillas and salad, plus chicken, beef and delicious natural juices.
