
Infrastructure and Services:
Both lodges or hostels have water and electricity. They also have fans, but the nights are cool. The beds have bed net. There is no phone service, but cellular signal is available.
Tourist Activities:
Visit the beaches of Cinto (three hours by mule), walks through the rain forest, visit the Tayrona National Park, visit the town of Chairama, go kayaking on the rivers Buritaca and Don Diego, visit the stream Valencia, and the puddles of Cacique and Cacica, visit a poultry farm, get to know passion fruit and other crops of fruit, visit the other places, and go mountain biking, horseback riding and bird watching, visit Santa Marta and Taganga.
This sector is a place consisting of two inns. The first, called Valentina, is surrounded by beautiful gardens and a green area for relaxation where there are hammocks and an outdoor dining area, the second named Camila is about 20 minutes in the same way. It is on the top of the mountain which dominates also a beautiful landscape surrounded by native flowers. They are comfortable wooden buildings with leave palm roofs.
Location:
The two inns are reached after 25 minutes by car or bus from the city of Santa Marta on the highway of the Caribbean. Each inn has its own warning add on the highway, to get to Valentina you have to walk 10 minutes from the road. Camila is just up the hill and the walk takes approximately 30 minutes.
Accommodation:
Valentina has two rooms with a capacity of five people and Camila a room for three people, both of them with bathrooms.
Food - Meals:
The inns do not have kitchens inside, however, owners have a kitchen in their house that provides food. The food is based on a great variety of fish, rice with coconut, fried green plantain tortillas and salad.
