
Infrastructure and Services:
All the inns have water supply. It is an ideal place for those who can stay without electricity and prefer lighting candles. No phone service available.
Tourist Activities:
Interpretation of indigenous trails, walks through the rain forest, visit the Tayrona National Park, visit the town of Chairama, go kayaking on the rivers and Buritaca and Don Diego, visit the Valencia creek, visit the other lovely sectors and their attractions,like horseback rides ,mountain biking, bird watching, visit Santa Marta and Taganga.
It consists of six lodges built in wood and leave palm roof, they are separated by indigenous trails. Its location on the hill gives a spectacular mountain landscape of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. In the bottom of the sector you can visit a nice stream of stones able for a refreshing bath.
Location:
It is about 20 minutes by car from Santa Marta on the Caribbean highway. To get access to the inns is required to walk up the hill for 20 minutes from the highway by indigenous and trails.
Accommodations:
There are six inns of a bedroom each with a capacity for three people.All the inns have bathroom and a terrace for sun beds. There is a bed net for the beds.
Food:
Five of the six Tinajas inns do not have kitchens inside the inns, however, owners have a kitchen in their house that provides food. (One of the inns it has kitchen and dining room). The meals are based on a great variety of fish, rice with coconut, fried green plantain tortillas and salad.
